10.0 TEMPORARY WORKS临时工程
Plant, tools, etc. and scaffolding机械、器具、脚手架
Provide and maintain in good working order all mechanical equipment, plant, tools, implements, ladders, tarpaulins and the like necessary for the proper and timely execution and protection of the Works. No wooden “home made” ladders, trestles or saw benches shall be permitted on the site.
总包方须提供并维护好为保证正常和按时施工以及对工程进行保护所需的机械装置、设备、工具、器械、梯子、防水油布及其他必须物品。木制家用梯子、爬梯或锯床严禁在现场使用。
Provide, erect, alter if necessary and maintain all necessary scaffolding to the satisfaction of Symantec and remove on completion and make good all work disturbed.
须提供、架设、在需要时改动及维修一切必需的并且令 满意的脚手架，并在不再需要时拆除，同时须修补所有受到影响的工作。
The General Contractor will not be permitted to take support from windows for erecting scaffolding or plant. The method of securing the scaffolding and plant shall be to the Jianli’s approval.
总包方不得以窗户作为支撑点架设脚手架或设备。脚手架和设备的架设方法须经监理同意。
The maintenance of all plant shall be undertaken outside normal working hours and the General Contractor shall provide sufficient reserve plant of all kinds to ensure that the work is not interrupted by breakdown of plant.
所有机械和设备的维护和保养须在正常工作时间范围外进行，总包方须提供足够的各类备用机械和设备，确保工程不会因机械和设备的故障而停顿。
The GC shall erect and maintain suitable and safe ladders and gangways for the all workers, staff and visitors to the site and shall provide access to Symantec and to Symantec’s Representatives to thoroughly inspect any portion of the Works on the request of the Project Manger and ensure with complete safety when doing so.
总包方须架设并维护适当的安全梯和跳板使得所有工人、员工和来访者能够进入现场，以及xxxx及其代表根据项目经理的要求可以绝对安全地对工程的任何部份进行彻底检查。
General Contractor's storage sheds, workshops and office
总包方的仓库、工作间、和办公室
The General Contractor shall provide for his own use all necessary workshops, mess rooms, offices and sheds of suitable construction for the storage of materials, maintain them in good order to the satisfaction of Symantec, remove on completion of the Works and make good the sites.
总包方须在xxxx满意的情况下提供并且维护好一切自己必需的加工车间、杂物房、办公室和物料储存仓库，并在工程完工时拆除以及将场地恢复。
The materials may be properly stored in completed sections of the Works provided that no section of the structure is loaded in excess of the design loading and no hindrance is caused to the progress of the Works or access thereto or to partial completion of Works where this is required.

All materials on the site and in the building shall be stored in a proper, neat and orderly manner.

Separate inflammable goods storage sheds must be provided in an approved location. No inflammable goods such as oil based paints, kerosene, thinners, cellulose lacquers, bitumen or bitumen based products etc. will be permitted to be stored in the building under construction.

In addition, the GC shall provide Symantec and their representatives with the following fully services offices :-

Each office shall be supplied with a suitable number of desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and cupboards, telephones (a minimum two telephone lines and internet connections for 6 staff). All offices shall be well lit with heating and cooling. All doors shall be lockable in a secure fashion. The following list outlines the facilities required and shall include for replacement as indicated (RR-allow for replacements as necessary).

The GC shall provide adequate and daily cleaning toilets for all operatives on the site for the use of the contractors’ personnel. The General contractor shall maintain efficient and sanitary latrine accommodation for the use of male and female labour employed on the Works and keep the whole of the site and buildings in a clean and sanitary condition to the satisfaction of Symantec and in full compliance with LEED.
总包方应在现场提供足够厕所及保证日常清洁供承包方人员使用。总承包方须在xxxx满意的情况下维护供男女工人使用的有效卫生厕所设施，使整个工地和建筑物保持清洁卫生同时须符合LEED的要求。
Positions of all site offices, temporary latrines, sheds, hoists and the like
现场办公室，临时厕所，工棚，升降机及类似设施位置
(1) Submit to Symantec through Symantec’s Project Manger for approval proposals for the positions of all site access points, guard houses, offices, temporary latrines, sheds, hoists and the like. After receiving approval from Symantec, submit the proposals with the required Form to the relevant Authorities for approval.
通过xxxx的项目管理公司向xxxx报批所有工地现场出入口、警卫室、办公室、临时厕所、工棚、起重机等的位置。在得到xxxx的批准后，按照规定的方式向当地相关部门报批。
(2) The General Contractor must comply fully with CDHT’s conditions for contractors regarding but not limited to:-

The General Contractor should allow for all temporary works and utilities in a safe fashion to the satisfaction of the Local Authorities, Symantec and Symantec’s Representatives.
总包方须保证令当地有关部门、xxxx及其代表对所有的临时工程和设施的安全感到满意。
Temporary supports临时支撑
Allow here, unless measured or itemized elsewhere in these Bill of Quantities, for all necessary temporary supports including, inter alia, shoring, propping, strutting, planking and strutting, sheet piling, etc. whether for the support of excavation, new work under construction or of existing buildings and existing slopes. All such temporary supports shall be designed by the General Contractor to the approval of the LDI and the Local Authorities. The General Contractor shall be responsible for its safety throughout the period of the Works and no indication of approval or disapproval of such temporary supports by Symantec or any of the Symantec’s representatives shall be interpreted as in any way reducing the General Contractor's responsibility in this respect. Should Symantec in lieu of the General Contractor subsequently undertake to provide drawings detailing the requirements for temporary supports and should Symantec obtain the approval of the Authority to these proposals, then the General Contractor shall construct the temporary supports in accordance with such drawings at no extra cost, as if they were his own design.
除了在单价表里另有记载和测量的，总包方须提供包括斜撑、顶撑及支撑、加固、板桩等在内的无论是用于开挖支撑还适用在进行中的工程或现有建筑物及斜坡所需的一切临时支撑。所有斜撑、顶撑及支撑等须由总包方进行设计并交设计院及有关部门认可。在整个工程中总承包方须对上述设施的安全负责，xxxx对临时工程的认可与否都不会免除总包方的责任。xxxx可发出图纸说明其要求，而总包方须按该等图纸架设斜撑、顶撑及支撑等，不得收取额外费用，正如同他们自己的设计一样。
Provide telephones on the site for use also by all Contractors and others legitimately employed people on the site including paying all charges and removing on completion.
总包方须在工地内提供电话，供所有承包方以及其他合法雇用的现场人员等使用，并须支付所有的费用及在完工后拆除。
Water for the Works工地用水
Provide and distribute all necessary temporary water at the Site for the carrying out of the Works, including the works for all contractors and the Public Utility Companies including the erection and removal of temporary plumbing and storage and the payment of all fees and charges.
对施工区域内提供并输送本工程所需的施工用水，包括所有承包方、xxxx的直接承包商的工程以及公用事业等工程。施工区域内管线铺设及拆除储水设施由总包方负责。施工期间的用水费用由总包方承担。
The General Contractor shall provide and distribute water free of charge to all contractors, Symantec direct contractors and public utilities companies.

No extension of time will be granted for any delay in obtaining a temporary water supply or for any delay caused by stoppage or interruption of water supply.
对因推迟获得临时用水以及施工期间的停水而产生的延误，工期不会因此而延长。
Lighting and power照明和电力
Provide all necessary temporary lighting and power at the Site for the carrying out all of the of the Works including the works of all contractors , direct contractors employed by Symantec and the Public Utility Companies and including all electric power to enable the same to check, test and commission their installations to meet the requirements of all having jurisdiction. A detailed temporary lighting design will be required for approval within 10 days of appointment for approval by and their Project Manger.
对施工区域内提供本工程所需的全部照明和施工用电，提供范围包括承包方的工程、xxxx直接承包方的工程以及公用事业等工程。同时须对以上各方为满足发包方和相关权力部门的要求进行的检查、测试和设备调试提供电源。
The General Contractor shall be responsible for all Site works in distributing electricity including, but not limited to, provision, installation and subsequent removal of temporary main switch board, distribution boards, cables, wiring, junction boxes, transformers, lights and all other accessories.
总包方须负责对所有的现场工作分配用电，包括（但不局限于）供电、安装、以及随后拆除临时的电闸、配电箱、电缆、电线、分线盒、变压器、照明设备以及其他所有的配件。
The whole installation is to comply with the latest edition of the regulations for electrical installations and all requirements of the Electricity Supply Company.
总包方的全部安装须符合供电局最新版条例中的电力安装和其它要求。
The General Contractor shall provide and distribute electricity free of charge to all contractors, contractors employed directly by Symantec and the Public Utility Companies.
总包方须免费对所有承包方、xxxx直接雇用的承包方以及公用事业公司提供并输送用电。
No extension of time will be granted for any delay in obtaining a temporary electricity supply or any for delay caused by stoppage or interruption of power supply.
如遇推迟临时供电、停电或断电而造成的任何延误，工期不会因此而延长。
Other temporary works其他临时工程
Provide all other necessary temporary works not specifically mentioned herein.
须提供所有其他必需但未在此特别提及之临时工程。
11.0 STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS法定责任
Notices, Fees and Charges (See also Conditions of Contract Clause 4)
通知和费用（同时参照合同条件部分第四款）
The General Contractor shall comply with and give all notices required by any legislation, ordinance, regulations, byelaw, notice and requirements of Government, Authorities, public utilities companies or any statutory undertaker which has any jurisdiction with regard to the Works or with whose systems the same are or will be connected.
总包方遵守并按照国家和地方政府以及对本工程有管辖权或本工程需与其系统接驳的公用事业单位的法律、法规、条例和有关规定，向其通报。
The General Contractor shall bear the cost of any fees or charges, levies, duties, rates or taxes legally demandable under any legislation or ordinance, regulations, byelaw or notice of Government, Authorities, public utilities companies or any statutory undertaker in respect of the Works other than the cost of the construction of run-ins, reinstatement of paving and connections to main services which where applicable will be the subject of a "Provisional Sum".
总包方须承担政府、机关、公共事业单位或法定负责人的有关法律、法规和通知规定的相关的各种费用和税金。对因构筑临时通道、恢复破损路面、配套工程入户连接等引发的费用将按暂列款处理。
Working hours, rates of wages etc.工作时间、工资标准
The General Contractor shall comply with any current legislation or regulations regarding working conditions, working hours, or rates of payment to employees, including those required by CDHT .
总包方须遵守任何现行法律、法规中规定的工作时间、工作条件、工资标准，包括成都高新区的相关规定。
Safety precautions and security 安全防范
The General Contractor shall comply with any legislation, ordinance, regulations, byelaw or notice in connection with safety on Work Sites.
总包方须遵守所有于工地安全管理有关的的法律、法令、规定、地方条例或通知。
The General Contractor shall provide sufficient safety helmets for the use of Symantec, the consultants and other authorized persons visiting the site.
总包方须提供足够数量的安全帽供 、咨询顾问以及其它授权进入现场的人员使用。
The General Contractor shall throughout the progress of the Works take full responsibility for the adequate stability and safety of all operations on the Site and have full regard for the safety of all persons on the Site. The General Contractor shall keep the Site and the Works in an orderly state appropriate to the avoidance of danger to all persons.
总包方须在全部施工过程中对现场的安全稳定操作负责，完全负责现场所有人员的安全。总包方须对施工现场和工程进行有条理的管理，以避免产生对所有人员的各种危险。
The General Contractor shall display during the hours of daylight, such lights, guards fences, warning signs, flags, signals and markings and during the hours of darkness such lights as the Government or other competent authority may require for the safety of aircraft or the public.
总包方须在白天提供相关的照明、防护栅栏、警示牌、旗帜、信号和标识，在夜晚提供政府和相关权力部门可能为保障公众或飞行安全所要求的照明和警示灯。
The General Contractor shall ensure that all parts of the Site where work is being carried out are so lighted as to ensure the safety of all persons on or in the vicinity of the Site and of such work.
总包方须确保正在施工的现场的所有部位或他的临近部位都有照明，以保障现场或附近所有人员的安全。
The General Contractor, after obtaining any necessary approval from any relevant Authority, shall submit to Symantec proposals showing the layout of pedestrian routes, lighting, signage and guarding for any road opening or traffic diversion which may be required in connection with the execution of the Works. No such road opening or traffic diversion shall be brought into operation or use unless the proposals submitted have been previously approved by Symantec and guard the road opening or traffic diversion properly provided and implemented on the Site.
总包方在得到相关权力部门的必要许可后，须向 提交人行路线的规划、照明、标识、对为实施工程而须挖开的路面或交通疏导，而采取的防护措施等相关方案。在提交的计划和方案得到 批准之前，不得对路面进行开挖或进行相关的交通疏导，对现场挖开的路面或现场提供和实施的交通疏导线路，提供�；ぁ�
Contracting qualification承包资格
The General Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the qualification to undertake contracting work locally from the relevant Authorities, and shall obtain all Government approvals relating to construction prior to the commencement of the Works.
总包方须负责向有关部门取得在当地承包工作的资格，并在开工前获得一切政府方面与施工有关之批准。
Quality control bureau质量监督部门
The GC shall comply with all of the requirements of the local Quality Bureau and shall fully cooperate with the JianLi and all parties in regards to achieving an international grade A quality facility.
总包方应遵守当地质量监督部门的所有要求，全面配合监理和其他各方，使项目达到国际A级质量标准。
12.0 SHOP DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATION深加工图纸和技术规范
Drawings etc. at Site工地现场的图纸
A complete set of Contract Drawings and Specification(s) together with copies of all Variation Orders and additional drawings issued after the Date of Commencement shall be available on the Site at all times for reference by Symantec and the Symantec’s Project Manager.
工地现场须有一套完整的合同图纸和设计说明以及工程开工后所有的变更单和修改图纸，以供 及其项目经理随时查阅参考。
The drawings shall be kept on well ordered drawing racks the GC shall maintain a drawing register of all drawings, all drawing issues and all modifications.
图纸应按合理的顺序整齐地放走图架上，总包方应对所有图纸、图纸的问题和修改有一个登记记录。
Shop drawings 深化加工图纸
Shop drawings will be required and shall be coordinated with other associated works and furnished by the General Contractor well before the work proceeds and in any case within one weeks of the Symantec's written request. The Symantec may reject, comment or amend such shop drawings. If the shop drawings are rejected, the General Contractor shall revise them according to the Symantec’s comments and resubmit the revised shop drawings for any further comment at the time as directed by Symantec. No claim will be accepted for comment or amendments required by the Symantec.

Measurement Accuracy测量的精度
The units of billing for measured omissions and additions for variations or additions of re-measurements where the unit is either m3 or m2 the quantities shall be billed to the nearest 0.10 of a whole unit and where the unit is either m or kg the quantities shall be billed to the nearest 0~10 .
计量单位如果是m3 或 m2，应精确到计量单位最近的0.10，如果计量单位是m 或 kg，则应精确到最近的0~10 。
13.0 MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP材料和工艺
Compliance with Regulations符合规范
Materials, workmanship and the works as a whole shall conform to or be of a higher standard than the minima required by the Contract, legislations, regulations, byelaws or notices of the Government or Authority or other statutory undertaker which has jurisdiction with regard to this Contract.
所有施工、材料、工艺须全部符合或高于合同中规定的基本要求，以及国家或地方政府或对本工程有管辖权的权力部门或执法机关所制定的法律、法规、地方条例或通知中所规定的最低标准。
Where different standards occur as specified therein, the higher standard shall prevail.
如标准不同，以较高的标准为准。
Samples样本
The quality of materials and articles supplied for any purpose are to be approved by Symantec prior to their use in the Works. Wherever practicable samples are to be submitted for approval before bulk supplies are delivered to the site. Approved samples are to be kept on site to serve as standards for the materials or goods represented by the samples. Samples, and any packing for same, are to be provided free of charge by the General Contractor and shall fully comply with the Contract.
用于本工程之任何物料的质量，在使用前必须得到xxxx的认可。在大批物料送到现场前，必须提供样本，由xxxx审批。总包方须在工地保存认可的样本，作为以后验收工程的标准。样品及其他类似物品均由总包方免费提供，并应遵守合同要求。
Should any material or article be rejected it shall be removed from the site at the General Contractor's expense.
总包方须自费把任何被拒绝使用的物料撤出工地。
The General Contractor shall provide Mock ups and samples of workmanship for all trades and obtain the Symantec's approval and a Start Work notice prior to commencement of each trade.
总包方须对所有的专业的工艺提供样板和样品，并须在每个专业开始工作前获得xxxx的确认和批准，并获得开工通知。
All subsequent work and workmanship shall be to the standard set of by the approved Samples of work, Mock ups and the approved samples.
所有随后展开的工作和工艺须和认可的工程样板和样品的标准一致。
Safe custody of materials材料的安全保管
The General Contractor shall be responsible for the safe custody and proper protection of all materials delivered on to the site including those for Named Sub-Contractors or Separate Specialist Firms. He will be required to reinstate at his own expense any such materials that may be lost or stolen.
总包方须负责妥善安全保管运到工地的材料，包括被指定的分包方或独立的专业施工单位的物料。自费恢复任何遗失或被偷窃的材料。
He will also be required to reinstate at his own expense any material or article damaged by careless handling or storage or as a result of inferior workmanship by his workmen either in the original fixing or in the subsequent taking down and re-fixing thereof.
总包方须自费恢复因操作不小心、贮存不当、或其工艺低劣(不管是在最初安装时或是在后来拆卸再安装时发生的)而损坏的任何物资。
Loading and unloading of materials材料的装卸
The General Contractor shall take every care in the loading and off-loading of materials for the work, ensure that the street, roads, footpaths and landlord area are not obstructed or damaged in any way or that the traffic is impeded and he shall conform with the police regulations therewith. Off-loading shall be undertaken at a point agreed with CDHT and the local authorities if not within the confines of the site.
总包方须尽量小心装卸材料，不得阻塞或破坏街道、公路、人行道和业主的地块，一旦交通堵塞，应遵守相关的公安条例。卸货地点如不在工地范围内，须在成都高新区和当地部门同意的地点进行。
Mock ups样板
Symantec requires mock ups to be completed by the GC prior to practical works to be commenced according to the elements identified in the Design Pack (see Appendix 1 of the tender document). The mock ups would be inspected and signed off by Symantec upon they are fully in compliance with the expectations. The signed off mock ups would be the quality benchmark of all relevant GC works in this project. No further work can commence without a Start Work notice from G&T. All delays and the cost of delay that result from inadequate mock ups will lie with the GC.

The GC shall carry out works for mock ups including but not limited to:-

Produce a detailed mock up schedules and incorporate into the GC construction schedule with sufficient time allowances for inspections, rectifications and sign off for Symantec and G&T review and approval.

Review and understand the relevant part of mock ups in deign package and implement the material preparation, fabrication and installation according to the approved mock up schedule.

Upon on sign off of the mock ups, the GC shall maintain and protect the mock ups in a good condition fashion and use it as:-

ii) The training demonstrations to all relevant workers to understand the quality standards
